Parents in Edinburgh who have been campaigning for a security fence at Murrayburn Primary School in Sighthill are to finally get their way. For years parents have campaigned to have a security fence installed at the school after it became a constant target for vandals.

Education chiefs initially complained that the fence would cost too much, however it was revealed that so far vandals have caused around £8,500 worth of damage to the school. In cases like these, spending money on decent security can often save you money later on.
