Security Officer

Pay: Above National Minimum

Location: Throughout the North West

Average Hours: 48

Duration: Permanent

Description: Must be aged 18+ and hold a valid SIA Licence, a driving licence and own transportation is a must due to site locations.  we have multiple vacancies all over the Northwest available. Duties to include Access control, building patrols and other security related tasks as required. The ability to write reports and communicate in a clear and accurate manner is essential. Interviews will be held and our head Office in Chorley, Lancashire.


Security Supervisor

Pay: £6.50 per hour OR £15,000 approx.

Location: Throughout the North West

Average Hours: 48

Duration: Permanent

Description: Must be aged 18+ and hold a valid SIA Licence, a driving licence and own transportation is essential to the role. Duties to include site visits, mobile patrols, lock and unlocks, delivering training packages and KPI’s to the Officers in the Field. Reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor so excellent written and verbal communication is essential to the role, Interviews will be held at our head office in Chorley Lancashire.


Security Supervisor

Pay: £8.00 per hour OR £18,000 approx.

Location: Bury

Average hours: 48

Duration: Permanent

Description: Experienced Security Supervisors / Operations required for a prestigious site in Bury, Manchester, the candidate must have excellent communication skills both written and verbally and proven Management abilities. You will be responsible for a small team and report directly to the Senior Management. A valid SIA Licence, driving licence and own transportation is essential. Interview will be held at our head Office in Chorley, Lancahsire.

  • All officers are SIA licensed and fully vetted in accordance with the British Standards 7858 criteria.
  • All officers will be CRB checked in line with Security Industry Authority (SIA) regulations.
  • All officers will have a good standard of numeric and literacy skills.
  • All officers will have the relevant experience of writing brief reports / statements.
  • All officers will have relevant experience of working in a customer orientated environment and will be capable of relating well to the general public.
  • All officers will receive extensive on site training and supervision.
  • All officers will be mature, self aware individuals with significant knowledge and experience of the security industry and/or other related fields.
  • All officers are fully uniformed and well presented in line with the specific requirements of Fowler Welch.
  • All officers will have experience of reception duties, facilities management, customer service and face to face interaction with members of the public.
  • All officers will be fully committed to quality and customer care.
  • All officers will be proactive in performing their duties and in helping others.
  • All officers will be very professional and well mannered with an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to deliver successful customer service.
  • All officers will have excellent communication skills and team working abilities with additional proven ability to work using own initiative.
  • All officers will be able to use and operate portable communications equipment.
  • All officers will have a general understanding of health and safety procedures and regulations and ability to support the company’s Health & Safety Policy.
  • All officers will have an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to deliver a successful customer service.
  • All officers will be very friendly and helpful and able to remain calm and courteous in demanding situations.
  • All officers will be flexible and willing to adapt and take on additional tasks that may be required.
