An initiative by police and retail security staff in Warrington has resulted in national recognition thanks to a marked decrease in retail crime and shoplifting.

The Warrington Against Business Crime Partnership aimed to increase retail security through Warrington and has been met with huge success after many organisations worked together to put new security practices into place.

The award was handed out by Action Against Business Crime which recognises the efforts of schemes across the nation.
