Key holding licences
Every one of our Churchill security guards undertake Security Industry Authority (SIA) training where after obtaining their licence, are fully prepared to protect the interests of anyone, and any business. With their responsibilities including management of the private security sector, the SIA perform two duties – the mandatory licencing of those undergoing duties assigned to them involving security services, and the regulation of the voluntary Approved Contractor Scheme, accountable for measuring private security providers against independently evaluated criteria.
With a variety of key holding licences to suit your business needs, Churchill Security guards can cater to anything from a custom designed request to the more common key holding services, including:
- Front Line Key Holding Licence: Licence holders undertaking licensable activity must wear identification in the form of a credit card-sized plastic card to be worn according to licence conditions;
- Non-Front Line Key Holding Licence: Required for those already managing or employing individuals involved in licensable activities, so long as front line activity is not carried out (applicable to directors or partners). This type of licence is issued in the form of a letter that lists the various key holding activities.
