Who is Churchill Security?
Churchill Security is a privately owned company which has been established since 1994 and is based at Rainford Hall, Crank Road, Crank, St Helens, WA11 7RP. Why do I need security?

What does a SIA (Security Industry Authority) license mean?
The Private Security Act 2001 was laid out to regulate the security industry and on 20 March 2006, it became illegal to work as, or supply, a contracted-in security guard without an SIA license in England and Wales.

The SIA licensing scheme was also set up to improve the security industry's image so that the general public and the wider business world would have a much clearer understanding of how the industry is regulated and who is entitled to work in it.

To qualify for an SIA license the security guard must be aged 18 or over, be able to pass an identity check and criminal record check and have achieved the appropriate SIA approved training qualification.

All Churchill Security officers hold an SIA License.

What can I expect from a Churchill Security officer?
You can expect a uniformed, professional and well trained individual. All Churchill Security officers are vetted to BS7499 or BS7858 and carry an SIA (Security Industry Authority) license.

Churchill Security officers are given rigorous induction training and are subject to continuous on site supervision and random inspection.

Churchill Security officers can also undertake other duties such as caretaking, janitorial, reception and administration.
