Police are advising pubs and clubs to adopt more stringent security systems and maybe door staff in the run up to the World Cup, taking place in South Africa this year. Football banning orders mean that 3,200 known football hooligans will not be allowed to travel to the World Cup this year – so, hardly in the best of moods, the worst offenders will be remaining behind in the drinking establishments of Britain.
