This week is the week of the Download festival in Donnington. And yes, I’m gutted to not be there L
Mind you, in one way I’m glad. Because event security and local police are set on texting Tweets to the mobile phones of festival-goers, warning them about crime and giving them advice. Just exactly what you don’t want when you’re trying to get into the music!
Between 80,000 and 120,000 people are expected at the festival and Inspector Chris Brown of Leicestershire Police has said that officers already use Facebook to communicate with festival-goers – but Twitter will reach them while they’re there!
