This year’s Action Against Business Crime (AABC) conference in Manchester, held on April 29th, offered the commendation of Assistant Chief Constable Allyn Thomas of Kent Police as well as plenty of business crime and security services information.
Assistant Chief Constable Allyn Thomas is the Association of Chief Police Officers’ Lead regarding business crime, said that last year showed a disappointing rise in business crime and a decrease in effort by retailers and even police. Happily, the Assistant Chief Constable believes that best practice standards are set to be restored with the coming merger of the AABC and the Association of Town Centre Management’s new Business Crime Initiative.
