A new worm is infecting Yahoo! Messenger and Skype, according to security staff at IT security firms BKIS and Symantec. According to the researchers, the new worms are a tad more sophisticated than their more dated counterparts, reeling people in with human sounding queries such as, “My printer is about to get thrown through a window if this pic won’t come out right. You see anything wrong with it?”

Once the user is suckered into clicking on the .jpg file, the worm is on the system and can download other malicious payloads as well as infecting other people.
