It hasn’t been a very good week for internet security this week. Microsoft has had to take down a security patch that has just been released in its monthly Patch Tuesday release as it doesn’t actually fix the vulnerabilities properly for the Windows 2000 server.

VeriSign has announced that there is a massive growth in the black market for social networking sites so we have an explosion of social networking security issues to look forward to soon. McAfee has also had a bad week after its updates caused the widespread crashing of Windows XP SP3 systems. All in all, security systems and IT security are having a bad time of it this April.
