A new survey from AVG, experts in IT security software, has shown that one in ten users of the internet don’t use internet protection. According to the survey, most people don’t realise that not having anti-virus software can put them at high financial risk.

£718 million worth of music is currently at risk because people don’t protect their home computers. However, surprisingly, 95% of people over the age of 50 have security software installed on their computers – making over-fifty’s a very security-conscious bunch. What you need to remember is that as IT security gets more advanced, so does cyber crime.
