‘Norton Everywhere,’ is the name of the new software solutions that Symantec has released, that will take it beyond security systems for PCs.

The new security system will be built for mobile phones, in particular, smartphones and mobile platforms such as Android. As well as providing security, the solution will also offer access to stored data and data security too.

The Norton Smartphone Security for Android solution even offers anti-malware scanning, call blocking and allow the remote locking or wiping of a handset via text message. As smartphones become the norm, extra security will become a growing trend.
