A young dad was stabbed in the chest while dropping off his son at school yesterday.

The unnamed father was taking his child to Eldon Junior School, in Edmonton, North East London when he became involved in an arguement with two men, allegedly over a parking space. After taking his son into school, the victim returned to his car and another arguement took place.

There was a fight, with young children screaming at the men to stop and then one of the two men stabbed the victim in the chest. He was rushed to hospital and is in a stable but serious condition. Children are being offered counselling for the incident and the police are reviewing CCTV footage of the event.
