Police in the Wyke area of Humberside have started a new initiative to raise awareness of burglars. By pushing helium balloons through windows that have been left open and doors, the Police have been demonstrating how easy it is for burglars to break in and steal. With crime prevention leaflets attached to the balloons advising home and business owners to not leave residences unsecure or valuables on show, many people will have got the message.
